Socket Weld Union

Stainless Steel Socket Weld Unions are used in low-pressure piping where it is required to dismantle the pipe often. A Forged Socket Weld Union is a screwed joint design. It consists of three interconnected pieces. This fitting has two internal threads and a centerpiece that draws the ends together when rotated. In order to minimize the warping of the seats, the unions should be screwed tightly before the end are welded. ANSI B16.11 Socket Weld Union fittings are available in customizable sizes as per the customers’ requests.
